When first launched in 1988, Cool Water by Davidoff formulated by the nose Pierre Bourdon was an aquatic marine scent that was unique and innovative because most men's fragrances were "green" in that they evoked pine forests and woods. Cool Water like it's name evokes calm green ponds, fishing on a lake, seaweed, swamps, bayous, an underwater realm. It smells of all the bodies of water on the planet. It's the realm under the sea. This is a very famous iconic fragrance that most men (and women) agree as being one of the greats. It was the first of its kind and spawned a new genre of fragrance the aquatic marine. It evokes a very athletic good looking male swimmer and scuba diver in full gear swimming down in the depths of the ocean.
